Our roots are in headhunting and community building. We understand how to identify, approach, and bring the right people together, and we genuinely value the role that networks, introductions, and trusted communities play in building businesses.

CEO
Barry has spent more than 20 years building communities, organising events, and connecting people across the technology industry. Through his work with RecWorks, he has helped organise 1000+ events and built communities reaching more than 10,000 people.

COO
Kristian has spent the last 10 years working in and alongside event agencies, helping deliver corporate, community, and charity events for audiences ranging from intimate gatherings to thousands of delegates.

Chief of Staff
Chelsea has built her career around events, operations, and communities. She works behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, making sure every detail is covered and every event is delivered to a high standard.
Alongside the core Nexzus team, we work with a trusted group of facilitators, community organisers, event operators, researchers, hosts, designers, and behind-the-scenes support people who help bring gatherings and communities to life.
Depending on the format, scale, and audience, we assemble the right mix of people around each initiative.
Alongside our events and communities work, we occasionally partner with a small number of organisations to help create introductions, conversations, and commercial opportunities through our networks.
This can involve community activity, events, direct introductions, outreach campaigns, surveys, reports, or other initiatives designed to bring the right people together.
We are highly selective about these partnerships and only work with organisations where we believe there is genuine value for everyone involved.
